Learning & Living the Gospel Goal #1 The Sacrament/Baptism Covenants

I taught our Family Home Evening Lesson about how the Sacrament helps us renew our baptism covenants.
We promise to take upon us the name of His son, always remember Him, and keep His commandments.  He promises us that we can always have His spirit to be with us, we can have membership in His church, we can be forgiven of our sins, and we can live with Heavenly Father again.  I'm grateful that I was baptized and glad that I can renew my promises every time I take the sacrament.

Learning & Living the Gospel #6 Story from the Book of Mormon: Abinadi

For Family Home Evening I taught the lesson from the Book of Mormon about the prophet Abinadi and wicked King Noah.  I printed stick puppets from the internet to help me teach the story.
The king was wicked and didn't want to hear Abinadi tell him and the people to repent.  They burned Abinadi and he told King Noah that he would die the same way.  And he did.
