Yesterday I went to the Family History Center with the Activity Day Girls. I learned a lot about my family. I got to see on the chart my ancestors. I got to see how Hyrum Smith is my 5th Great Grandfather. And I also go to see how William Clayton is my 4th great grandfather. William Clayton wrote the song Come Come Ye Saints.

Saving for the Aquarium--Developing Talents #1
Our family is trying to save money to buy a family pass to go to the aquarium. It costs a ton of money, so we are selling some of our toys on the internet. The very first thing we do with our money is pay our tithing. If we pay tithing Heavenly Father will help us keep selling things so we can go to the aquarium.
The Flamingo Phantom Gets Foiled--Developing Talents #10
Since my mom was directing a play at White Pine School, I got to help out and I got to be in the play too. We performed a melodrama where the audience gets to yell "boo" at the bad guy and "yay" at the good guy. I got to paint set. My character in the play was "Tiny Tot". I had to memorize lines.
Climbing Dixie Rock--Serving Others #7
We went on a vacation to Saint George, Utah. I wanted to climb up "Dixie Rock". It wasn't a small rock that you find on the ground. It was a HUGE one!! Even bigger than my house. I climbed to the very top. We could see the whole city and the temple. The temple was very white. I couldn't even hardly look at it. I was afraid that I might fall from Dixie Rock. I'm glad I chose to climb the rock because I can do hard things.
Piano Lessons--Developing Talents #2
I started taking piano lessons this year. One of my favorite songs that I learned was from the children's song book called "popcorn popping:". I like piano. I like musical instruments and piano is a musical instrument. And the piano makes a pretty sound.
Annie 2013--Developing Talents #5
I got to be an orphan in the musical Annie. It was extra fun because I got to be in the play with my sister Lisa and my mom. We had to stay up late because of practicing and sometimes it was hard. But I still had fun. I made lots of new friends. I learned a lot about theater and acting, singing and dancing. It was awesome when the audience clapped for us.
Poetry--Serving Others ##2
In school we wrote a mother's day poem. We read a book about love and there were 2 little boys and one said "mom, I love you the bluest" the other boy said "I love you the redest". The book was called "I Love You the Purplest". I picked yellow because my mom's favorite color is yellow.
Tumbling--Developing Talents #8
I go to tumbling once a week. It is very good exercise. When my mom says it is cold outside, I still like to go outside and tumble. You have to take care of your body because to do tumbling, you have to have strong arms and legs. Sometimes it can be hard to do tricks and sometimes it can be very easy. I am trying to be able to do my back hand spring on the hard ground.
Pioneer Report--Developing Talents #6
In second grade, I did a report on pioneers. We didn't have to do it, but I wanted to because I like learning about pioneers. All of these pictures were for my report. I used pictures from the time that I went to visit the Pioneer Village in Provo. The kids in my class liked that I used pictures of myself in the report and not just pictures from the internet. I learned that pioneers did a lot of neat things. But it was also a lot of hard work. They had to plant their food instead of going to the grocery store like we do. I am glad the pioneers came out west so I could be a Mormon.
